Waste in military has always been known as among the most rampant -- and most difficult to do anything about. And while we should try to solve it, it is arguably the most important function of government. I don't think anyone can defend the waste in the military, or should. But it is not optional. Trump will end the war in Afg. A temporary increase in personnel may be necessary. He just isn't stupid and telegraphing his plans as Obama did. As to your comment on the military industrial complex, I am probably less of a supporter than you are. You have not seen me oppose cuts to the military in a very long time.
