The signal has moved up sharply into positive today. I bet SPX 2475 by the end of the day. Then we will see a three white soldiers candlestick pattern.

How is one able to tell, esp. when volume is low, that

this is not primarily short-covering by the bearish side? It seems to me that many have taken bearish bets, and by this I mean to include the hedge funds who have been vocally and publicly bearish.

It would be good to know. Maybe another day or two of this will make it clear.
