WT: In Christ's discussion of the fig tree He mentioned that the leaves shall appear. Too often, a single leaf will appear and scholars will try to attach much significance to one leaf. However just as the contractions of a laboring woman increase in duration and intensity so shall the signs of His return. I have not a single doubt that you will be unprepared for His return should it happen in your lifetime. My encouragement is in Christ. Nicodemus was incapable of understanding the rebirth that Christ was attempting to explain, and that was a one-on-one-face-to-face-person-to-person-verily-verily (meaning now listen closely) encounter. So, hey, if we have a little trouble, with endtime prophecy the holy spirit will just have to spell it out to us , amen. I wonder when the light went of in Nicodemus's head. one day? one month ?later I just love Jesus.
