I thought you were familiar with NetWare ... aren't you? NetWare has had the ability to automatically create the necessary partitions for quite some time ... well before IntraNetWare was released. If a person were to read the instructions and simply boot from the included diskette ...

Auto-detection of LAN and Disk drivers was even further enhanced in IntraNetWare ...

I'm not sure what you are referring to here ...

It's interesting that I heard someone saying this about Cisco lately. One of their very large customers was asking why the "cheesy" telnet/text based menu interface ...

I don't know ... maybe Joe can comment on that article about IBM's focus on Java ... seems that others are betting a lot on non-NT environments. I actually believe that NT will be around for quite some time ... until the applications being used are available in Java, or some alternative version.

No offense taken ... and although you might not feel the same way I believe that I see a lot of that "overhaul" happening and well underway.
