Hi Christine, I was not familiar with Plastic Lumber (ECPL) before, but I am now. I am familiar with the product though. I think it is ideal in some situations such as playground equipment, city park benches, and so forth. Low upkeep, and no splinters, but high initial cost for now, although this may improve, as the company seems to be buying up smaller companies. I have bookmarked the thread, and will be watching it. I,like you, would prefer to make money off of environmetal stocks, not make a donation. Del
