Yes Richard, it's exactly what I'm talking about, daytrading we are trying to catch intraday cycles (predict them with different degree of success :) ) and in this case 7.416 represents only half of projected cycle which in best cases misses swings and in worse cases misleads to false buy and sell signals.
In any case, Richard I don't try to doubt your expertise in TA, everybody on SI earned from your knowledge and your openness and your participation here is a privilege for everyone here. Question of this particular issue is to validate using of MACD on intraday basis.
By the way, I tried to set this parameters on tick by tick chart, didn't have enough time to observe it, but at first glance it looks good.
