I agree with you for the most part. How many times have I posted that I wish Trump would stop tweeting and stop blurting out the first thing that comes into his head? How many times have I posted here and elsewhere that Trump is too thin-skinned and has got to come to grips that he will never stop being attacked by the left?

My worry is that his own party, the GOPe element, will undermine most of what he wants to do regarding the things I cared about--immigration, offshoring of jobs, trade agreements, etc.--not Democrats. Democrats are in the tank for corporate globalists, but it's not clear yet how many of the GOP are.

I could be wrong but I doubt that Trump making nice with GOP obstructionists will make a difference. My assumption is that he's haranguing them because they've already made it clear to him behind the scenes where their loyalties are.

As for the jobs reports, I'm thinking those are anomalies. Or we still have people on the sidelines or working in the cash market because business wages are so low. Rising wages will pull people off the sidelines I think.
