Right. You do realize the president cannot do something like that unilaterally. He needs the cooperation of Congress. In Obama's case, a Congress that was controlled by a party that had sworn to oppose any and everything that Obama wanted to do. And they did...

President Obama worked the Boehner on an agreement to cut deficits by $4 trillion. It included mostly spending cuts but a few tax increases. The republican House said no to it and then didn't even try to come up with a counter proposal. He tried but your party says no to everything. Blame them and only them.
