Joe,

You bet I've been watching SMTK. It's looking great! In fact I just did my very own "January Effect" analysis on some stocks near and dear to us in the 5 trading days since the Dec. 31, 1997 close:

DCTC 1-15/16 up 3% to 2;
SMTK 22-3/4 up 20% to 27-3/4; and
FTEL 4 up 55% to 6-3/16 (many holders on this thread).

Based on the above (and ignorring irrelevant things like the DOW), it looks like we have a raging bull to contend with for the rest of the year! Even if the January Effect is just folklore (:-(), I think all the rest of the stars are in alignment for us to blow the lid off this year!

Dan

Different Topic: Although I'm sure many others did the same, I inserted your answers into George Erberting's questions to make things easier to follow. George's questions are numbered, your responses are in < ... >. The combined results follow:

1. Has Cyberfax signed any additional contracts since the first 10 were announced?
2. Are you satisfied with the revenues the first 10 contracts are generating?
< As pointed out in the recent shareholder letter, the billable revenues are starting in January. Yes.>
3. What can you tell us about the current status and progress of DCI UK and related subsidiaries?
< We have given the greenlight to go in Denmark and Spain as we speak. We have a switch now in Denmark and two enroute to Spain. As you know we have one in the UK. Traffic is flowing thru Denmark, since late last year. Traffic should commence this month in Spain.>
4. Has the PEL Division entered into any additional deals since the deals with SPACE, Camelot, Universal Studios and Philips were announced?
< As pointed out in the shareholder letter we are holding the hand we have for the affinity programs but all the telecom related program are now under Ira Cohen and doing well.>
5. Thru how many outlets does Card Call currently distribute cards in Canada and elsewhere (not including vending machines)?
6. Thru how many vending machines are the cards being sold (in all markets)? Are you satisfied with the sales volume the machines generate?
7. Who actually owns the vending machines?
8. Are you satisfied with the progress of the PEL division? What do you particularly like about that division's current activities?
< I'm never satisfied with anything.>

Was the Muller Media deal ever finalized? i.e Did we make the payment to close the deal?
