George, Joe, Vinod et. al: Amazing to see this celebration of "I told you so DOOM AND GLOOM" Let's really party. I really get a kick out of you guys.

What's really happening? Novell is on the rise and MS is running scared along many fronts.

Have any of you checked out the recent ramp up in Novell's sales momentum. Please read beyond LAN-Times and pay attention to what's happening in the real world. Doesn't take too much to track and confirm this from anybody's local sources.

Microsoft or someone paid these guys to print this garbage. Expect a huge and quick response from Novell and others in the industry.

From where I sit I see BoarderManager and NDS booking sales now at an accelerating pace. NDS per user cost will be down in the $40's and below this spring when the full NT links are set in place.

Upgrades to 3.2 are going very strong. My guess is they will book $270+ million this quarter. Costs are being reigned in more than anyone has a clue about IMHO.

BoarderManager should be a $75-85 mill revenue stream for it's first year - growing beyond that. Groupwise sales are strong.

I can tell you that Netware 5.0 beta from the people I know and respect very highly is a helluva lot more complete than NT 5.0's alpha.

Again, love the act. You guys are all getting caught up in such a twisted, almost, black celebratory doom and gloom mode. Seems with this LAN times crap you couldn't see the sun shine even if it blasted you in the face.

Why is Abbott, State Farm, Anderson and many others deploying NDS and BoarderManager now??

There are big financial accounts that are staying solidly with Novell.

NT has some very serious problems which MS is trying its best to mask. Watch them tear to shreds this LAN times offering.

My advice. Buy on weakness and let's watch Microsoft squirm.
