Hey, Did 3D all of a sudden get interesting? I've not really been keeping up with the thread for awhile. We had an interesting experience last Sat. evening. Some of the people S.J. works with (who are also laid off) came over to the house Sat. afternoon. Of course, most like to do a few aluminum arm curls when they're here, and it is okay because everybody pretty much knows "when to say when". We shot some pool, played some cards, had a bite to eat, . . . it was a pretty enjoyable time by all I think. They all left just before dark. Before crawling in their respective vehicles, it was apparently decided that the husband of one couple would drive back by himself and pick up their little girl when he got back to their home community. The wife rode home with their mutual friend. We got a call about an hour later by the wife. The husband wasn't back yet. S.J. and I began to scenerio-ize. Then we started to worry. We called back to see if the husband had returned . . .nope. So we decided we should probably go look for him. The road in some places is curvy with steep drop offs. And to make matters more fun, it was foggy. S.J., with window rolled down, took a combo flashlight with a good beam and shined it along the side of the road while I drove at a snail's pace along the highway. About halfway to the next community, the flashlight stopped working. I pulled over, and S.J. tried to get the darn thing working. Wasn't going to happen, so we decided we'd just go on to the community where the couple lives and get another flashlight. Got to the store, bought the light, and decided to go see if par chance he had returned while we were looking for him. They live in a mobile home. I said they drove a Honda, S.J. said it was a Chevy. So after driving around the trailer park a couple times and not being able to determine which was their home, we went back to the store and called. He had made it back. Apparently he had decided to stop by a friend's house on the way home and lost track of time. Nothing beats good old fashion communication. Well, at least we've got a good flashlight. <ggg> Miss ya
