My parents had a place that is ground zero for Irma, just south
of Ft L and north of Miami, floods happen all the time during
high tides, Irma has 30-40 feet waves plus 6-12 foot surge and
these storms notoriously hit at high tide, so many an area in
Florida is about to seriously underwater, I wish them all luck.

The sad part outside of the obvious is Guv Scott outlaws the
use of the term "global warming' or "climate change" morons
everywhere IMO.

Go Long GOLD.

Wow, I was so incredibly busy and stressed out last week that I thought that I was writing the post I am
responding to on A different thread!!!!!

so sorry about that slumdog..... This is a very cool thread..... I have been by here a few times previously.....
I think I was following ggersh...... around one day...

really sorry about my inaccurate and completely wrong comments regarding FC Orange Juice futures...

Bob Furman had the exact right idea...... Hurricane Irma wiped out the Florida Orange tree crop, which some
of the orange growers tell me would have been maturing in April and May of next year..... The trees
are sitting in several feet of water in many cases and they may be killed off... which will be even more adverse
than losing this years crop.....

my apologies ,

John
