We have a small camper's grill with many small propane bottles, enough to last us for a long time, we can catch fish in the lake behind our house... also, there are lots of wild birds that frequent our lake, worse comes to worse (and if the birds are still there) we can set bird traps... there are plenty of small wild animals that roam this area, many feral cats, we can set a few dead fall traps and catch the smaller mammals... and for the cats and larger animals we can make a Paiute Dead Fall trap, we can make snares, Grave's bait stick or motion triggered snare, fixed snare, peg snares, there are so many ways to make a snare depending on what you want to catch...

And if the camper's grill runs out of propane, we can always build a fire with the tinder, dead twigs, and fallen branches everywhere, we also have a few magnesium sticks to make fire... each stick lasts pretty much forever...

With the fallen branches and palm tree leaves we can build a livable shelter...

And so on...

Although, I seriously doubt we're going to have to live in the wild like that after Irma, but we are definitely prepared for pretty much anything if we must... probably more so than many others who probably know very little if anything about primitive survival...
