The debt ceiling has nothing to do with creating more debt. The problem republicans have is systemic. They can't raise taxes so they can't balance the budget. You say Dems don't do it either but I'd remind you our tax increases did it under President Clinton. Revenue soared and spending fell a little to give us balanced budgets. If just one republican tax cut had passed we wouldn't have seen a penny of surplus.

And they want the credit....funny.
