In 2008, no leading Democratic presidential candidate backed single-payer. In 2020, all of them might.

In 2020, all Democrats WILL back single payer. After all, Republicans chose a nominee that said repeatedly he supported single payer. How can a Democrat possibly position himself to the right of the head of the Republican party?

As Repubicans move left, Democrats move farther left. It's a team effort.
