ios11 is on its 10th developer beta, so it's had a major number of fixes. I've had the developer version on a couple of iPads since the 2nd beta - which had major bugs. The latest version is very stable and a very nice operating system. The major bugs have been squashed and I expect the final release will essentially be the version I'm running. I have not signed my iPhone up for the developer betas, so I don't have that experience. Those that have upgraded their iPhones claim it works well. I recommend you upgrade as soon as the final version is available - your main problems are going to be getting use to the changes, so start right away.
