One area of interest for us is NW Arkansas. Good friend is retiring there. It's N of Fayetteville and W of Eureka Springs. Trees, lakes, decent size metro population(Fayetteville/Rogers/Springdale/Bentonville). Arkansas does not tax SS benefits. Very reasonable real estate prices. Check it out.

Reflecting back on that post I made about Gigacrete, apparently they had one of their buildings in the Virgin Islands.. Hardly a scratch, while everything around it destroyed or heavily damaged..

I follow them, but have no vested interest in their product.. But it's interesting to me.. hehe

Maybe build yourself one of these, and stick there in Florida..

Don't forget the Mine Fields and defensive Machine Gun turrets, since you'll likely be the only residence around still standing if another Cat 5 hits you.. lol
