Flan,

>>Wow as much as I did not want to I had to sell a little stock today - Stock I bought last july and rode to great profits and then sold at a loss - that sucks.<<

I'm in the same boat and know how it feels - I agree, it sucks.

>>PDS just announced they will be starting a new program whereby they will be paying investors to buy their stock.<<

Actually, this is not such a crazy idea and, I believe, was in fact a fairly widespread practice in the olden days under a program called Dividends.

Regards,
John

Flan, I helped my father buy GW at 6 1/2. When It fell below 5, I "used to be his son!"

Don't get your hopes up for institutional buying in the near future. Every sector is being taken back and shot one by one. It started with the Techs (semis, DD makers, mini/micro). When the market turns and starts going north probably much later in the year then techs would be the first one to go north and that is what the institutions would be buying. If crude oil hits below 15 forget any institutional buying for a long time, and definitely not if crude hits below 12.
Till crude does not find a bottom kiss this sector goodbye. I will keep buying puts on any rally.
