MBA, I believe the players of the VLT's are thinking of only... one thing and that's hitting the JACKPOT...hoping that one more play will yeild the golden goose...The $4000 carrot is what will keep the bolivars pouring into these machines...NorAm's machines prizes are much better than the current illegal ones...I don't think the average Venezuelan will play the machines based on the fact that it is funding the health care issues in Cojedes...Many may not know where the proceeds are going or even care... Take a poll in the States about why people play the lottery and helping the cities and towns will be last on the list of reasons... The top reasons are probably to hit the jackpot, it's brainless and it's fun to gamble... Why do people play slot machines in a casino??? It's fun, it's brainless, you have a chance to hit the jackpot...and you have the worst odds of coming away a winner than any other game in the house... Biggest money maker for the house...
