You don't know what you're talking about. Bush asked Congress for emergency legislation. The majority of his party in both Houses voted against it. The stock market crashed. Democrats gave Bush every vote he needed and there were many votes. A majority of the republican Congress chose to do nothing and then attack Democrats after the collapse. Republican voters were too stupid and too unamerican to care that they did nothing. But forget that for a second. What have republicans done since the collapse? Dems passed lots of legislation, including Dodd-Frank. What have they done?
