If you think so, the answer would be to have a legal guest worker program. Most illegals don't work in agriculture. Our big cities are filled with them, they do all kinds of jobs - construction, manufacturing, car maintenance, restaurant work, office cleaning ....

Pretty much everything can be done by Americans .. though it would be at higher wages.

Take Los Angeles office cleaners/janitors. Believe it or not, decades ago most of them were black Americans. They had a union. Some of them put kids through college cleaning offices. The union was busted with contract cleaners that relied on illegal aliens.

Also decades ago, midwest meatpackers employed American workers. Meat packers made decent money, paid off their mortgages, had bass boats. They were replaced by illegals from all over the world.

There's a lot of things like that happened. Illegals squeeze out the low income, low skilled American workers. You'd think liberals wouldn't like this but it seems they don't really care about lower economic Americans.
