Hi Don, I feel a tremendous sense of joy and amazement at that awesomeness of nature and the power and glory of our Lord. My east coast Florida friends, relatives, business colleagues were blessed by not sustaining the "Nuclear Hurricane" as Governor Rick Scott was describing it on Weds Sept 6th and Thursday September 7th when the computer tracking models had it aimed directly at Miami. My family, relatives and myself were blessed by not sustaining the kind of damage and destruction that the Florida Keys sustained, as well as so much of the state of Florida... So much of the entire state of Florida received storm damage and power outages, as I am sure all are aware. I was entirely amazed that a Hurricane which went up the west coast of Florida was so large and powerful that it caused the Governor of Georgia to declare of a state of emergency for the entire state of Georgia and that even Charleston S.C and all of the areas up there were impacted by the extremely heavy rain bands from the Massive size of the Hurricane Irma and the storm surge from the Atlantic which impacted those areas as well. My first cousin Marcia, who was born 5 months after I was.... had moved to Key West from Louisville several years ago with her high school sweetheart who had moved down to the Keys in his twenties.... and both had jobs in Key West and were living in the adjacent island as Key West is/was massively expensive. As Marcia described in 5 years ago the Billionaires were buying out the Millionaires in the Key West property market.... Luckily, she decided to move back to the Louisville area as that is were her Dad - (Uncle Bob) her Brother Mark , his wife and kids and Her own Son Sean and her grandson live. living near family, friends you have know for a long time and loved ones is a tremendous luxury .... certainly one that all the money in the world can not buy you. you are one of the really great friends I have on Silicon Investor and since we have spoken much more via PM than on the thread, most people are unaware of the friendship we have.... Joseph Silent is another friend who I have only spoken to via Personal Message over the few years... I may not have ever written to him the public side of SI. but will be shortly!!!!!!.. my very best regards, John
