stan, Here's the Motley Fool post: Subject: targetrin the wonder drug Date: Wed, Jan 7, 1998 22:25 EST From: Rick01968 Message-id: <19980108032500.WAA08848@ladder02.news.aol.com> hello, im new to this board but wanted to post something for you all to know...my mother had been diagonsed with skin cancer..mycopia i think it is called...anyway she has had it in one form or another for a few years...all hope was failing..she was on topical creams for years and when that started to fail after a while , she went on interferon shots, which also had no effect on her now growing out of control lesions..the last ditch effort was a new drug in clinical trials called targetrin...THIS DRUG IS SAVING HER LIFE ! the lesions which were all over her body are currently dissappearing rapidly..only a little remain and she has only been on the drug for less than 2 months..there have been NO side effects ...and she is feeling great , unlike the interferon shots which were wiping her out..many pictures were taken and the doctors are calling the drug a miracle...and once again virtually no side effects, her triglycerides are just fine and her eyes (supposedly can cause cateracts in rats)are fine too..just wanted you all to know this...also the doctors said that a bunch of others are experiencing similar results from their own experience with the drug...i am going to buy shares of ligand because of this fact...rick
