marc, I think it is more likely that Ted Wait<,sp?> will grow hair on the top of his head than IBM takes over GTW at anywhere near the current price. IBM has done some stupid things but buying GTW is a stretch. The rumor around the town of Armonk is GTW is in pain.-g- Mike

Marc, If the source of your rumor is the Gulfstream IV sitting at Sky
Harbor in S.C. with large "IBM" Letters on it, I must tell you that that aircraft has been sitting there for three days now. DWW II

marc, i think your estimates are very high. however, apple sold about 80% more units than they expected. everyone is buying computers and they aren't very price conscious as they are much cheaper than they were so everything looks cheap (even apple and gtw).

i expect gtw to do pretty well and i think $0.44 is doable now. if gtw drops a little lower than even i might buy calls ;-) i won't hold them very long, though as this death scene has nmerely been interrupted for a moment.

good luck all...
