TRUTH............................................

DELL not cutting due to the Asia,,,, They are getting killed by CPU and CPQ.............
The biggest sales in computers came from the consumer going to the store and the from mail orders. Most consumers prefer the ability to see a purchase of a computer and be able to return it without cost if they have to.
CPQ doing good is a downside situation for DELL.

"Even if you can get a Gateway or Micron for 10% less the choice here is a total no brainer." IMO

I assume you are saying I should pick the Dell. I've never owned a Dell or Gateway, but have two Microns and am very happy with them and their tech support. I know people who have the other two brands and swear by them.

What brand of PC do you have?

I emailed Micron on Sunday and got an answer first thing Monday morning. I emailed Dell today, let's see if I get an answer.
