So I'm a "chairwarmer" and McConnel or Schumer is setting me up to lose my chair in 2018 or 20. I'm an ambitious chairwarmer but I'm going to sit by and let that happen? The hell I am. If I'm GOP I want Trump and his minions doing payback as far away from my homestead as possible. If I'm Dem I'm gonna have enough problems with Bernie Bros & Co - I don't need complicating Trumpers on the warpath. I want some sort of voting record I can proclaim, not have to excuse, when I campaign. I want to look noble without having to lie very much. These guys are going to feel pressured the next few months to do something useful despite the feculant bad tasting stuff Mitch and Chuck are serving up.
