The worst part of left right interaction is it quickly slips down into the deep ruts we've all traversed a million times. It is just so predictable and boring.

Message 1. Al Gore didn't create climate change, scientists did.
Message 2. The president spends the money Congress gives him.
Message 3. If republicans are more realistic than Dems how do they pay for their spending?
Message 4. Republicans controlled the House for most of the last 20 years.
Message 5. The word wall will become border security.
Message 6. A real fiscal conservative would balance the budget.
Message 7. What's the purpose of the speaker in the video?

How can a person look at those comments and conclude they're unworthy of consideration and conversely misstatement of facts can go unchallenged?

Is it okay to say Al Gore created global warming or that Obama wrote budgets all by himself when an educated person knows they're untrue? Is this why we're so divided? Is one side simply incapable of telling the truth or accepting basic facts?

We both know the answers to these questions, don't we?

It's not a shouting match you fear. You fear facts.
