re <<Your description of a solution is a black hole of introspective nothingness which would result in the Gamblers Ruin problem>> yes, i suppose the description, if played out, can end up in a knot. was at dinner last night with 7 folks, some just finished w/ the annual clsa conference in which s cannon did his talk, and others had gotten off the phone w/ washington and new york, all to figure out "what is happening" a script was tee-ed up, and i have no way to assess validity, and am not in urgent need to assess. shall simply watch & brief, follow along, and see what happenings tag with whichever scripts the particular script says there are at least two main camps energising current drama in washington-new york one, for lack of better name, call it the deep-state, that faction which had been teeing up wars in the deserts, and engaging in regime changes here there everywhere two, more familiar, call it the military, that which is a portion of the military-industrial complex, called out by some presidents the military is sick and tired of fighting fruitless but absorbing wars over whatever seen as in america's interest, or spun that way the deep state still wishes to regime change, for own philosophy or at behest of others interest unclear that either really enthusiastically wants to be fully absorbed into the hopeless puzzle that is n.korea, even as the issue can be used to some advantage by one or the other faction the suspicion by the folks who champion the above read is that iran would be tee-ed up for attack w/i months, should all go according to plan, so that a n.korean type of puzzle does not arise in the iran equation let us watch & brief interestingly, given the increasing number of military types in the trump administration, one at the dinner remarked that in other countries what is happening in Washington would be termed a coup some at the dinner figure trump is a puppet because his secrets are known knowns by his handlers let us see
