Hi Ted,

That quote you referenced would not apply to the fork. The fork is not a trend line. I would always stay with the most recent fork pattern.

An outside reversal occurs when the current trading range is both above and below the trading range of the previous period. In this case, this week versus last week's range. It hasn't happened yet, but watch for it today. My guess is that we'll rally and it won't happen. If it does happen, it will be too good to be true, a spectacular sell signal.
