I agree. The techies in Silicon Valley will begin to alter their kids genes soon, and they'll implant them with direct computer/brain communication chips so they'll be able to access AI at all times. They will eat superfoods, have super trainers, superior education and superior health care. Humanity as we know it is doomed. I give it two generations max. Forty years. Further, I think the reason we haven't actually been able to communicate with aliens... despite large numbers of sightings, is that they wait to see if we survive the biological/machine merge. Those creatures that destroy themselves are dangerous to all the others who survive. Genetically unfit to survive. Those who survive leap forward logarithmically so fast we cannot imagine where they will go. They become part of the intergalactic family. I think they are out there but so advanced we cannot even begin to comprehend since the logarithmic advancement moves ever faster. Its ironic that the hippies who wanted to create a utopia, are so much responsible for the end of humanity.
