you may be right but pricing has fallen an unbelievable amount on memory since Nov. and drives appear to be the same situation, now with
Intel's drop scheduled this month, definitely gives them the margin points to do so. Dell's higher end products use more memory and larger drives, so this would affect the PC price probably more so than a sub zero unit. I think it was a good idea and is not untrue, the Asian
thing has contributed but not entirely, as the memory and drive market was already in oversupply situation before the crisis.
