-0- Authorities say UNABOMber suspect Theodore Kaczynski tried to hang himself in his Sacramento jail cell. Undersheriff Lou Blanas says Kaczynski used his underwear in the failed effort. Kaczynski is being placed on a heart monitor and under 24-hour surveillance as a potential suicide risk. During today's hearing, Kaczynski agreed to undergo psychiatric testing to determine if he is able to defend himself in his trial.
