Sorry: I took too long to make that post a little bit fancy, and could not correct it... sorry again. Ugly!

Re: My short position has been initiated because of TA: not because I know anything about DELL.

This is one of the best ways to loose money.

P.S. I'm betting on Pittsburg to win the superbowl because
they have really neat uniforms.

Francois:
You have an interesting way of investing and I wish you the best of luck.
But if you are going short for long on Dell(ggg), then the following should be considered
<<<< like to short overpriced, popular stocks.>>>>
Overpriced: This fundamental assumption is a killer for bulls and bears . Many have sold for 20 % profit in past years and lost a gain of 400% more if kept.
Dell may appear overpriced, relative to say wdc, qntm, seg, jbil, and many more. Anyone who can tell for sure that a stock is
overpriced should be rich long ago.
Popular :
Here on the thread we stand in a vast forest of stocks
and can see only a few with clarity. Many of my neighbors had never heard of Dell, until I mentioned it. The company report
listed only 3600 shareholders, with @60 % being held by institutions.
That leaves of 360 mil shs, only 144 mil in 'public' hands.
It is not yet comparable to ATT or BAC for popular. ( but it is
fast getting to be the talk of WS, which is going to increase its
value, esp with so few shares and Dell buying them back at a fast pace)

Gaston re:..the fact that it closed down is logged as a distribution from the TA perspective.

This distribution you are talking about actually started tuesday of this week.
