Thanks for the very informative post Ben. My pessimism for SEA is about at its peak (nadir?) having held an SEA mutual fund for the last five years. It's in an IRA acct so there is no tax advantage to selling it, and every time I think of selling I think "how can it get any worse?" and regret every time I've thought that, especially the last few days. After the bloodbath, I expect SEA to come roaring back stronger than ever, as did Mexico after the peso devaluation. Good luck with your picks. Have any shorts for 1998?

Not yet. I think there is still another shoe to drop. I think there are some good Chinese ADR's to short.
