Groups with the words "tea party" in them were looked at by the IRS. The IRS was doing what it was designed to do...look at companies that seek tax exemption and target those that have political names like "tea party" in them since political groups are not tax exempt. This is another example of republicans simply lying about what was going on and republican voters being too gullible to know they were being lied to.
