In diplo speak, crickets ARE boos. I'm sure those new to Trump found it shocking, but to we poor Americans, it's just Trump in teleprompter mode. Except for the Rocket Man reference. That was a late change by Trump himself.

You tend not to Boo the person that is paying your bills even if you disagree with them. What's the old saying...Beggars can't be choosers. The UN doesn't enjoy a level of popularity in the United States that it enjoys elsewhere.
