David,

From CPA to CPA

Don't take anything personally here. Just devote some time reading going back and reading some posts before you jump in and state the "high" points of Novell...These same "positives" you stated have been mentioned numerous (I mean that) times here...the only constant has been this stock only goes down...so please spare us.

And your comment "Come on Novell, make me rich" was Waaaaayy out of character<gg>. I will assume you made this comment after you took a look at the numerous lines of the new Schedule D and realized you could be rich this year(along with H&R Block, Intuit, etc.) by doing tax work<ggg>.

Welcome to this thread, stick around, sit back for a while and learn. And you will learn so much here about Novell, techs, investing, Asia, economy, ice cream cones <g>, etc. I might not have made any money on Novell (no sell, no loss, right), at least not yet (I still believe in miracles you know or the White Knight to sweep me off my shares with aaaaaany amount of premium).

And to close with a short msg on the Yahoo Novell thread that sums up our beloved<super evil grin> company.

"We've been waiting for three years. 40 monkeys typing on 40 typewriters could have turned this boat around a long time ago. Let
accept reality here, whether MOABs a better product or not, it's too late, Bill's eating our lunch. It's called MOMENTUM, and thats a
tough thing to overcome. Even with a Billion dollars."

By the way, Frederick I liked those numbers you posted...hope they make it to the financial statements. In a crazy way, I still believe....(still haven't figured what yet<gggggg>).

Oh and I found this one too:

We need a turnaround artist. We need Chagal of the Chainsaw - Mr Al Dunlap!!!
----------------------------

Ha, I loved that, Mr Al. Guess that jet wouldn't be around long after he gets there, right Vinod;)

Fred, Ade, Scott and all Novell employees lurkers.........ACCEPT REALITY, you are getting your butt kicked in the marketplace. In order to make a COMEBACK you gotta accept that your company (and our investment) is in a grave situation. Why do we get the feeling that you still have the same mentality, no sense of urgency at all... that all is well, dont believe the MS hype, things are better than they look, wait for next quarter, year, pretty soon Schmidt will push the turnaround to the new decade.

I guess, as Joe said, you got to show us DA money...that's what counts...

You got my shares until Nov. 1999....I don't want you to make me rich, just some money on the north side of 10% annualized return. See I am not greedy at all.

Wow, I just noticed I rambled on too much. Sorry...and David welcome and good luck with your investment. I think we all need it.

Go Novell..............*I*didn't say that<ggg>

Goodnight everyone. Tomorrow is my last day working in the 14th best company to work for in America, time to stop making my bosses me rich...and follow my dreams...If I could stop spending so much time on SI<gg>oh, I got an answer for that and it's called my sweet cable modem!!

Goodnight everyone

and don't forget tomorrow we 'll probably be down another 1/32 or 1/64 or, heaven forbid get stuck with the familiar NC!!
