Oh, yes, Carol, thanks for reminding me. My whole family really wants to go to Cancun to look at the ruins there. Has anyone tried this, who would like to give us a little report on what it is like?

Hi Carol! I believe Americans are allowed to travel to Cuba.

I don't know anyone who has visited the country recently.

Is the peso stronger? Thought US dollar would make Cancun cheaper. I know someone who goes down that way every year. When he and his wife are in Cancun, they always stay in town. Accommodations are around $50.00 a night. I haven't talked to him for awhile though.

When I went to Cancun in the 80s, I stayed at the Club Med. The beach was beautiful. And we had it all to ourselves because there weren't any other hotels on the beach.
