[Rhetorical response.] Precisely, lying is in their nature. They have to support the value? of paper money until it suites them to not do so. When the few most powerful ones decide to change directions, they will do so to the ruination of everyone else, as they further expand their control and influence.

This is just as they did in their efforts to bring down the Savings and Loan industry in the 80s when it began to offer too much competition - savers and government insurers suffered, while banks grew very much larger by taking over S&L assets for pennies on the dollar.

They did it again by scooping up a number of small banks in the Financial Crisis, circa 2008.

Those events were small change compared to what may be coming.
