Michael, My forecast for the week was UP... and dailies were for DOWN... which usually signifies volatility and a go-nowhere market. We are on a VIX buy for today which means ultimately (usually within 2-4 weeks) a move up of 5% or more from here... we have had 5 such buy signals since mid-November 1997. While overseas markets are tanking, it is useful to remember who started it! And in this case WE did. So if the numbers coming out this morning are benign, we have a real chance at a strong rally.
