This whole fiasco smells of corruption!

That is what I've thought all along. There are minimally a few seriously corrupt Board members and perhaps more than a few. Either that or they are serious incompetent. Perhaps both. Buying Westinghouse's nuclear division was bad enough, but buying CBI's Stone and Webster was even worse. Surely a competent due diligence would have uncovered serious problems at Stone & Webster; their issues popped up pretty quickly after the sale.
