Great Post.

I don't think the 4th Q matters anymore.
EPS will be out, and everyones numbers are expected to be good.
They will only matter if they don't beat the Street.
Foward looking statements will carry all of the weight concerning the stocks.

The problem going foward is that businesses see these sub $1000 prices and they see the processors in them. They will and are demanding machines in this price range. We are not seeing them a lot yet, but the key word is YET. It is only a matter of time before Businesses start buying them in bulk. Perhaps Ford should have waited another 2 months.

IMO the HP $ 799 P 200 MMX is INTC competing with CPQ and IBM which are using the AMD chip. HP is staying loyal to INTC and INTC is rewarding them. That machine will work very well in a corporate environment. It is only time before the pricepoint will be in the Corporate environment.

DELL cannot compete with this kind of pricing. Their model is not designed for that price levle. This is DELL's problem going foward.
