You asked me to prove Reagan was lying about balancing the budget. He admitted he was wrong. He didn't submit one balanced budget to Congress and never signed anything close to a balanced budget. At a minimum, we have to say Reagan was 100% wrong when it came to tax cuts. He thought his tax cuts would end inflation. That's not what happened. The recession ended inflation. The entire purpose of his election was to end inflation and he was clueless (like 99% of all the republicans I talk to). I realize this sounds harsh but it's the truth.
