i first started workationing on koh samui about 12 years ago, to celebrate the coconut's one year birthday

back then the thai island's residents mostly greeted visitors in english even as they are mostly descendants of the first settlers from china

now they greet all in english or chinese, and even accepting yuan, because yuan is money good and funding plenty

i did not see russian money used, not yet

still some usd used

no bit coins
