MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Hotel Discovery, Inc. (Nasdaq: HOTD - news) today

Before joining Ellerbe Becket, Pugh was vice president of planning and development for MCA

Stephen D. King, chairman and chief executive officer of Hotel Discovery, said, ''Jon will spearhead
our site selection process, as well as direct the creation of new Hotel Discovery restaurants on those

we seek the best new locations for expanding our imaginative concept.''

Ron Fuller, president of Hotel Discovery, added, ''The fact that Jon was so enthusiastic after

in the company's potential.

''Our executive team is now in place,'' said Fuller. ''Sam Talucci has been doing a great job of
improving the profitability of our operations, Steve Carey continues to build on his success with our
innovative menu, and Patty Diamond is developing a very strong retail concept. We added Anne
Huemme as chief financial officer and Maria Johnson as director of training in January. As the final
member of our executive team, Jon provides us with the capabilities to select the best sites for
expansion and will act as our design conscience while building effective and economic restaurants on
those sites.''

cuisine from around the world, including popular ''cultural fusion'' items. The company currently
operates one restaurant in Cincinnati, Ohio, with a second unit under development in the Mall of
America in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minn. Hotel Discovery became a publicly traded company in
