"Sen. Al Franken (D-Minnesota) doubled down Friday his accusation of perjury against Attorney General Jeff Sessions, re-asserting that the Alabama Republican and the nation’s top lawyer lied to Congress during his confirmation hearing earlier this year."

I didn't know there was anyone who didn't know Sessions lied under oath. He was forced to change his filings to get security clearances and then forced to change them again after Democrats caught him in another lie. I guess lying is so normal to modern day republicans (listen to talk radio for five seconds) that they think it's okay to lie under oath.

Recall how these same republicans impeached Bill Clinton after he lied about a bj. Apparently meeting with Russians and lying about it under oath is okay but lying about a bj is not.

Maybe republicans can send us a memo on when it's okay to lie under oath so we can better understand their reality.
