I think Trump will easily win reelection. Look at the news sites. He's in the headlines every single day. It's all Americans see. Who can Democrats nominate who will even get one headline much less dominate the headlines?

Our democracy is dead. Get used to it.

Comrade Chump understands that the media are driven by ratings, and that the more outrageous he is his base will watch because they love him and others will watch because they hate him. The media firms cash the checks.

It is not clear to me that the Democratic leaders understand this dynamic. They run the risk of their candidate looking small in comparison. Now it is possible that Chump becomes so unpopular that he will be voted out on the merits despite dominating the media. He could also be impeached, become ill, or be the victim of some nut exercising his second amendment rights. The latter is a problem both for Chump and the Democrats as it would bolster the subsequent Republican President. Hopefully he goes through legal and peaceful means.

In Alaska we elected many more Democratic governors than one would expect in such a red state:

Egan 4 terms, or maybe 2 ?? terms, Shefield 2 terms, Tony KNowls 2 terms and Cowper one term. Adn Jay Hammond was a liberal poet Republican. Sort of like Angus King.

I worked on all those campaigns.

Egan won outright, but the others won because the Republicans nominated guys like Moore.

I think we can beat Moore. But it means we have to go for it. And really show just how fucking nuts he is-lol.
