Good to hear from you again Mark, I seem to be able to pull you out of the woodwork once in a while. Will deflation really happen here in America or not, in some ways in my industry, the computer industry, we have had deflation for years and years, especially in memory and disk drives. My big question for 1998 is what will the EMU do to the American dollar. Assuming we don't have the financial cards collaspe here in America because of Asian defaults, it will be interesting to see if the EMU will become the worlds leading and "safe haven" currency. If the US $ does fall we will see the fed dramatically raise interest rates to save the dollar. All of this would be a totally unexpected event at this moment, and don't forget this should all take place right around the Paula Jones\ Clinton trial. Really makes me proud to be an American when we will be hearing about the Presidents certain markings on his ding dong, and all of this to be held on national TV of course.
