Re: >>>I just came from TMF IOM in Fool land, I couldn't beleive what I read. Apparently SYQT is giving away a Swiss army knife with a purchase of a product.<<<

I think they might do better if they gave a drive away with the purchase of a Swiss army knife. Rumor has it that the knife idea came out of a Syquest executive staff meeting where one of the VPs asked how they could cut into Zip sales. Perhaps we'll see an ad in tomorrow's paper with a photo showing Rocky furiously stabbing a Zip drive with a big red knife and a caption that reads: "I like to get rid of my aggressions before exploring my genius, now you can too with your free Swiss army knife from Syquest."

Regards - Dale

Zead,

What if somebody cuts themselves with these free knives? I'm glad Iomega isn't including knives with their drives.

Zead, hey, this might even get Rocky to pick up a Zip Drive:

<"BUY A ZIP DRIVE AND A 10 PACK GIG 'O COLOR, AND GET A THIGH MASTER FOR FREE." >

Linda

P.S. I'm getting the willies scared out of me tonight by the Asian markets.....
