Well, they were up today, while the rest were down.
things might not look exactly rosy, but still pretty good. Right?

Things not looking so rosy for CSCO right now..........

Lucretius... you're such a verbal short on Cisco, yet you continue to fail to offer your reasons as to why. Please elaborate. Are you short due to market conditions as a whole and are therefore shorting all the networkers or is there something particular about CSCO that has you hung up? Please share with us all.

Gary

It's time to "belly up to the bar." I just bought 3000 shares
of Cisco @54 1/8. I plan on dumping shortly after earnings.
I think that if Cisco were to disappoint, John Chambers would
have already warned the street.

How many shares did you short, and at what price?

I'd let it break the 50 dma @55 then short the hell out of it. Let it ride till you're
comfortable w/ the profit. Then again, puts'll get you there too. I just don't like
paying the time value. Good Luck!
